General information:

An antimycogram is prescribed in cases of isolation of a fungal causative agent from various microbiological materials. Specific antifungal preparations (voriconazole, itraconazole, fluconazole, ketoconazole, clotrimazole, nystatin) are used for local, oral and intravenous administration and special media and equipment for this type of pathogen. The main causative agents are from the genus Candida (C.albicans, C.tropicalis, C.kruzei, C.parapsylosis). These types of fungi cause a disease called candidiasis. They are widespread and very stubborn to treat. Candida is found in the oral cavity, gastrointestinal tract, vagina, urethra, skin surfaces and other places. Candidiasis appears when the state of the beneficial microflora is disturbed due to stress, pollution, taking antibiotics, taking anbols, weakened immune system. Some authors associate allergic reactions, toxicity and immune reactions again with candida infections. Some of the unpleasant symptoms that patients feel are itching, redness, discharge, burning when urinating, swelling of the stomach, frequent heartburn after eating, unpleasant sensation around the anus, coated tongue, strong discharge from the vagina, which can be yellowish and burning.
