General information:

Chlamydia Trachomatis - infection occurs sexually. The most common sexually transmitted infection. It causes urethritis, joint diseases, affects the eyes, inflammation of the fallopian tubes, etc. It can lead to sterility. Children born to mothers with chlamydial infection may develop keratitis (inflammation of the cornea of the eyes) or pneumonia. Incubation period 20 days.
